Established in 1952 in the serene heart of Kandaliyaddapaluwa, Ganemulla, WP/KE/Jayakody Maha Vidyalaya stands as a proud pillar of education within the Kelaniya Educational Zone (Mahara Educational Division). Guided by our sacred Buddhist and cultural heritage and our official motto 'උගත මනා ශිල්පයමයි මතු රැකෙනා' (Knowledge Truly Learned Protects the Future), we nurture over 1,650 students across Grades 1 to 13.
Beyond academic distinction at the Grade 5 Scholarship, G.C.E. Ordinary Level, and G.C.E. Advanced Level examinations, the school fosters well-rounded leaders through 30+ student clubs, cultural associations, uniformed cadet and scout units, and championship sports teams.

Situated in the serene community of Kandaliyaddapaluwa, Ganemulla, within the Kelaniya Educational Zone, Jayakody Maha Vidyalaya has stood for decades as a beacon of learning for over 1,650 students from Grade 1 to Grade 13.
Our dedicated faculty of over 85 teachers works tirelessly alongside parents, the School Development Society (SDS), and the Past Pupils' Association (PPA) to deliver exceptional results in the Grade 5 Scholarship, G.C.E. Ordinary Level, and G.C.E. Advanced Level examinations, while achieving distinction in zonal and provincial sports and aesthetic competitions.
